Cycle reflections: here's some of mine

Last cycle I bled on the super flower blood moon eclipse & this time around I synced right up with the Winter Solstice. Pretty apt bookends for a pretty big cycle.

For me, the last four weeks were all about:

🌹 Getting up close and personal with my inner Seductress, continuing along my journey with Shaney Marie this year. ⁣

🌹 Couples therapy on Zoom with my long-distance lover. We’ve had sessions with our therapist the entire time we’ve been apart — it’s been invaluable for us in staying connected.⁣

🌹 Navigating a shocking and stressful professional betrayal. Cue: ‘don’t fuck with me’ on repeat. Also celebrating finding a most wonderful lawyer.⁣

🌹 Continued healing and transformation from an earlier personal betrayal. (My intention at the March Equinox was to ‘embody my formidability’ and the Universe hooked me up, lol.) ⁣

🌹 Swam in the chilly waters of Bondi in my undies with my mermaid cousin.

🌹 Classroom in full swing in my Cycle Coach training for 2021!⁣

🌹 Got a great lash lift and started wearing liquid eyeliner again.⁣

🌹 Whisky tasting road trips and candlelit vinyl nights at home with my darling parents and brother. ⁣

🌹 Managed the over-seeing of care for my brother for a week.⁣

🌹 Dinner dates, flirting with cute bar staff and dancing on the street with a dear new friend.⁣

🌹 Hired a working space a few days a week that is so stunning I literally cried the first day I sat down to work. ⁣

🌹 Yoga, walking, pilates, bone broth, sauna, dog cuddles, yoga, walking, pilates, bone broth, sauna, dog cuddles…⁣

🌹 Accounts fresh and ready for tax time — celebrating my highest annual income ever. I didn’t plan for it (planned for same as 2020) but I am welcoming it. ⁣

🌹 Enrolled in singing and knitting lessons. Using my voice and getting off screens y’all. ⁣

🌹 Oh, and finished Outlander!⁣

I do these cycle reflections every single menstrual month and it’s a practice I love teaching in my course FLOW, which is now in its 5th year of running. Come and take it sometime soon. I’d love to welcome you into this cyclic way of living, creating, relating and celebrating yourself. ⁣

Let’s hear your reflections on your past cycle in the comments below. What themes do you notice as you pause and contemplate what you navigated and birthed over your last menstrual month?

Love,
