Do you need a little permission?

I know that you know that you certainly don't need ME to give you permission to do a single thing.

But sometimes, it's nice to hear - right?

Inspired by a few conversations I've had recently with myself, with clients, with friends, with family...

I WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT YOU HAVE:

+ Permission to sleep in.

+ Permission to eat chocolate for dinner.

+ Permission to quit your job.

+ Permission to spend a large sum of money on a pair of shoes that make you feel like the hottest, wildest, sexiest woman in the world.

+ Permission to get a divorce.

+ Permission to take a break.

+ Permission to feel the way that you feel.

+ Permission to shag on the first date.

+ Permission to swear online. Or offline for that matter.

+ Permission to take ten minutes for yourself, before attending to anyone else.

+ Permission to have a glass of wine.

+ Permission to have two glasses of wine.

+ Permission to have three glasses of wine.

+ Permission to be sober.

+ Permission to take a solo holiday.

+ Permission to read a novel in the sun, on a Wednesday, just because.

+ Permission to join Tinder.

+ Permission to eat bread.

+ Permission to ask for more.

+ Permission to SAY NO.

+ Permission to stop feeling ashamed about your sexuality.

+ Permission to book the flight.

+ Permission to be happy with what you have, right now.

+ Permission to be pissed off.

+ Permission to change your mind.

+ Permission to ask for help.

+ Permission to tell the truth.

+ Permission to receive, without giving anything back.

+ Permission to cancel, reschedule, pull out.

+ Permission to step up to the plate and smash it out of the park.

+ Permission to make more money than your parents / partner / best friend.

+ Permission to redefine what 'success' means to you.

+ Permission to give a f*ck.

+ Permission to stop giving a f*ck.

+ Permission to call in sick.

+ Permission to not be OK.

+ Permission to ask some big questions.

+ Permission to feel the hurt and sadness in the world and not know what to do about it.

+ Permission to try something new.

+ Permission to stay in on a Saturday night.

+ Permission to pleasure yourself.

+ Permission to start writing your book.

+ Permission to desire something else, someone else, someplace else.

+ Permission to keep some things private.

+ Permission to like who you're becoming.

+ Permission to cry.

+ Permission to get a cleaner.

+ Permission to surrender.

+ Permission to stop using social media.

+ Permission to work weekends.

+ Permission to watch erotic films. And enjoy them. (These are my favourite)

+ Permission to change your routine.

+ Permission to end it.

+ Permission to do things differently.

+ Permission to be yourself in every moment, minute, experience, exchange.

We all know that you don't need to hear any of that from me.

But sometimes, a little reminder is welcome - yeah? At the very least, I hope this post gives you a glimmer of your worthiness, your wonder, and your power to choose and communicate your truth.

Know someone who might welcome a little permission? Share this post with them :)

With love, gratitude, encouragement.
